From Cape Town, take the N1 in the direction of Paarl. Turn left off the highway onto the R44, direction Wellington (also to the left). After about 24 km, at the first four way stop street (Florida farm stall ahead of you on the left), continue straight over. Still continue straight, over another two sets of traffic lights. You will now see a school and then a cemetery on the right hand side as you approach the traffic light at the big four way intersection. You will see the Welgeleё Plein Checkers shopping complex ahead of you.
At this traffic light, turn left into Piet Retief Street. Then take the sixth possible turnoff (quite a large road) to the right into Blouvlei Road. There is a round water fountain on the corner of this road. You then continue with Blouvlei Road over the first stop street and past the Huguenot School.
You will reach a second stop street, continue straight ahead. This road now leads you into the “farming area”. After about 2 km, turn right into Olyvenbosch Road, which immediately becomes a red gravel road. Continue along this road, past the first La Folie sign (400m) and the second La Folie farm sign. After about another 200m, you will reach a junction, with a sign indicating “The Little Farm” to your left. Turn left down this road. After about 30m, you will see another La Folie sign, turn left here and follow the small winding road until you reach another split in the road. La Folie green cottage is to your right as indicated. Open the gate and park in the area provided. We will arrange the key delivery with you depending on your estimated time of arrival.
